Clip from Alta today (11-06-08) and last season compliation video of everyone else

Here's the clip from today. We (GT40, basinbum and myself) took one lap on the shoulder and then did another lap up to Collins and hit a line towards the end of the High-T. This is more to show current conditions than anything else. Nothing rad going on here:

Here's the whole fam damnly. This clip is long and is all the random footage I shot of other people with my helmet cam from last season.

    In order of appearance:

    GT40
    MOE
    Foxy
myself, stoy, and random guy (early season flippy stuff at Alta)
    DTM
    Tresckow
    Flykdog
    Criscam
    Freshie247
    Powdherb
    cletus yossarian knight the third
    Bolduc
    Jakecast
    truth
    alto
and last but not least (drumroll please): kush

Thanks all. GT40, my dad, at age 56 crushed pretty much everybody on the uphill (passed numerous groups). I was good lung wise, but my thighs were on fire on the second lap. I got some work to do.

SSD, thanks. I sort of wanted to go build a booter, but the turns were pretty damn fun.

mofro, you do what you have to early and late season. I probably only skinned 3 or 4 times total last season. Depending on what terrain resorts open up shortly I may do quite a bit more this year.

Jake, sorry we missed you. I'm sure we'll be down that way again very soon.

Most excellent stoke. I'm quite pleased to say that I will be passing by Alta this Sunday. Should I try and access Alta from Snowbird or am I better off just skinning the liftline?

You'll get more vert at Bird, but a lot more pow in the BC. Scope out the lines on the hill before you buy a pass. It may be tracked by then. Monday AM is a new storm & should be money by that afternoon.

I was looking forward to just getting out for some exercise, and didn't think that much about the DH. My first run down I was giggling like a little school girl. Last year preseason was great, but today was even better. The 2nd lap was very long, untracked, steep & deep. When it works out that perfect it can mess with your brain. I'm not use to getting perfection.

The band is Foals. They straight-up rule. I think "Antidotes" (album name) is probably one of the top 3 albums of this year IMHO. The song is called "heavy water". The band is also very down to earth. They played a freaking garage in SLC. Before the show they hung out drinking our death water bottles with us and then we all went out to the bar after. Nobody in SLC had heard of them so they were stoked when our little group showed up and knew every song word for word. I guess they sell out larger venues in Europe. SLC was just a pit stop on the way from the Monolith festival at Red Rocks and some other festival they were playing on the west coast. SLC usually sucks for live music, but occasionally just due to it's location on a map you get really good acts that nobody here really follows and you get these awesome tiny shows.

Very cool. GT40 at 56 years young gives me hope. Keep up the good work.
    See you out there!
