Mounting your own bindings
Anyone on here mount their own bindings? I'm sure there are, I've never done it (never had a need to) but curious to see how many people do.

I mount my own....
Cost me a bit for the jig, bits and other crap, but well worth it as opposed to paying $50 in gas to get to the nearest shop that has a jig for my FFR+'s!
Plus, nothing better than having all the tools you need in your own place to setup your planks!

no need for a jig if you are careful and good with a ruler.
many threads about mounts without jigs.
If you're willing to mount once on a two-by-four, then measure and lay out the hole pattern on paper, its actually quite easy and very cheap to do.

I've mounted plenty of skis before with a jig, but I mounted by first pair in my living room last weekend with a drill, ruler, marker, a cork and some wood glue. Came out perfect. Just remember, measure twice, drill once.
