The last thing I want is for people to check out my site and see no photos
I see javascript errors and no photos - looks like this is your problem and solution:http://diamondsw.dyndns.org/Home/Et_..._and_iWeb.html

I changed my username, but I'm still here.

Thanks so much for all the compliments everyone. I still haven't seen the actual hard copy, but I'll keep checking stores.

I'm particularly stoked that this shot was chosen for publication. It was from a really productive wednesday last winter. Myself, Atrain, and rugbydave were all having one of the best days of the year, one of those days when you can just do no wrong. All three of us were stomping everything we hit, and we just had that momentum going. As Nic said, this shot was a second take. Disease Ridge never really held snow last year due to the Dec 3rd raincrust, and this spine was pretty windblown. Luckily, there was enough new snow to get some spray if you really dug your edges in. The first time I tried for this shot, I managed to fuck it all up... not enough spray, or awkward positioning, or something like that. The light was so perfect though, so I hiked back up the slope a little ways so I could try again. I'm glad I did.

Keep watching for Nic's work. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, he's a hard worker. He's really dedicated to his craft, and he's got a great eye for framing shots. This is a breakout season for him, and he's killing it.

Again, thanks for all the kind words. I can't fuckin wait for winter!

good words sam, and thanks for the props.

remember also that that productive day was also the day i managed to pull an idiot move and get taken out by athan's sluff, carried a couple hundred feet and left in a pile of debris sans skis/poles/camera/toque/goggles and a knee that was killing with pain...somehow we collected all the gear in good order, you borrowed me 1 ski to get to the other skis and i toured/skied with that busted knee. I knew we couldn't quit that day..and it payed off with a print.

this is a shot right before i was taken out and sent over the salt-and-pepper rock

    Beauty Point of view

but this one is my favorite - that kind of riding is so demanding to shoot

those links don't work either... put the link in this format
EDIT: if you backspace the download part of the link all the way to the file name then it works

Thanks for the comments Lee. The first two are on Seymour..the steep overlooking perspective is looking down a run that is like 50-55', if the light was better you'd see flutings. the last one is a recent one, shot at my now hometown of Roberts Creek...foggy forest=deep moody photos

re seymour - that must those nice shots off First down to Theta Lake? or off Second - third bump to Elsay?

really enjoy Roberts Creek riding. Very lucky to be able to ride there. Only downside - not much glacier action

seymour shots...can't tell you by name (as i don't know), i just know how to get there by feel and follow. usually we tour there at night and I ski with a cousin who grew up there and has done a lot of recon to know what goes and what doesn't..i follow and ski pow.

r.creek. the riding is great, and i can leave from my doorstep..being a ferry away from glaciers will be a downfall this winter..i'll have to hit up the tetrahedron sometime as well.
