I have leveled it so many times, it should be in the leveling hall of fame.

I am waiting for these to arrive. They were the cheapest ones, still got good reviews, not sure I need to pay 4x that price. Hopefully they work.

glad I'm not alone, but I'm worried that it will never stop!

What makes it extra annoying is that it didn't do this until we put the vinyl flooring in, so that is clearly a culprit, but not sure what to do about it.

Hopefully the pads work. I have 1 foot that never used to stay where it was. It turns out that the bracket holding in the foot was loose...

I'm sure it's not. But there's not much I can do about that other than leveling the machine.

I slammed shims under mine too along with adjusting the feet. I think it helped a little but I just tune it out now. Machine still in same spot though .

    Did laundry over the weekend.

I also bought a recharge of socks at Costco today.

I have yet to try the vinegar thing. White vinegar?

I am prone to a slug of Dr. Bs peppermint in the wash just for the smelly smell.

My wife won't let me do her wash, but insists that I do mine and towels. She doesn't like to place any of her clothes in the dryer, and all my clothes (except for a few cotton button-down shirts and wool clothes) go into the dryer. I wash whites with whites, colors together and towels separately. Being German, my wife bought a Miele W/D. Best appliance purchase, ever!

Anyone know of a washer that actually cleans clothes and just doesn't massage them like the dumb new school ones? Why don't they have a plastic cylinder in the middle to rotate the clothes around anymore, or do they? Do I need a front load washer to make clean clothes happen these days? We have a fancy Maytag and I set it to deep wash and extra rinse and STILL the fucking soap is all over my black clothes and I'm going insane.....

We have a Maytag and I don't get soap residue, I doubt it's the machine's fault.. Maybe it's hard water or the detergent you use? Or how much detergent you use? The internet has lots of suggestions it appears.

My LG top load is legit. It doesn’t have the cylinder in the middle either, instructions tell you to load clothes around the perimeter and leave the center relatively open

who is dealing or dealt with stinky front loader syndrome ?

I don't have it but GF's front loader sure did/does stink

we ran the clean cycle which she had never run and it was better

do those front loader cleaning products work ?

Both my washers are topload and older which means they work pretty good
and as long as the timer doesnt kack I can fix them myself

Older front loaders you need to leave the door cracked when not in use so everything can evaporate so they won't stink. If they do reek, the stank is usually in the creases of the door seal gasket, get in there with a diluted bleach solution, there's probably some nastiness built up in there.
