I admit I was worried b/c when I rolled through at the start of Oct. there was snow on the ground and they were still working on it and so I had a flashback to last year when they just abandoned work once it got below 35*s the first time ( ).

But it looks great and I am SO looking forward to being able to take a duker in a heated facility instead of trying to do it in a portajohn with the door frozen partly open and a -15* wind blowing snow in on me by headlamp.

It looks great. I believe the shitters are the Clivus Multrum system. Regarding shoveling, I think sidewalks have radiant heat. I'd like to see the utility bill on that. I to am concerned about the self-policing aspect of it's operation. I think the skiers will be fine, it is the motorists just using the bathrooms and such that worry me. I'll be keeping a garbage bag in my truck. Bottom line, it is a great compromise for all the interested parties.

    Soon!

Thanks for all the hard work to all parties involved. Much nicer than hanging out in a cramped car for breaks between laps.

    Well done, a fantastic facility.

And good choice on plywood walls, as no doubt the usual suspects will sticker it to resemble all the avy blasting signs on the pass.

This is great but I worry that without trash facilities that people will just end up using the toilet as the garbage.

Please do not put garbage into the composting toilets, it is very difficult to remove. No shit.
