MN Mags: Wild Mountain opens...today??!
Yeah, it's true. A friend called me today and said Wild Mountain in Minnesooootah was opening today at 1pm. A glance at their website shows that, indeed, they are:

I can't imagine the snow is going to stick that long with the warm-ups coming in the next few days, but I honestly can't remember the last time people in the Midwest were skiing on snow in October.

Son of a bitch. Two years ago I was waterskiing on the St. Croix River at this time of year and it didn't look anywhere near open.

Yeah, just saw the news myself. Seems like the warmup this weekend may have it in for the first Minnesota WROD.

The email that came out from Wild today said they even expected to have "more than one run open by the end of the day." WTF?
When I drove by Spirit Mountain in Duluth today there was some snow up top at as well. I wonder if the resorts are getting a little over zealous.
