    Respected one,

Crush our stoke why don't you! I know how stupid the WROD is, I totally agree. But I'm drawn towards it like a moth to light for no good reason other than its symbolism. I hike every single month, but for some reason the WROD always beckons. It's kinda like your strange aunt's fruitcake she mails you every year. It tastes kinda bad, but technically it's sweet overall and you eat it out of tradition, not nutrition.

    BRING ON THE WROD!!!!

And it's made of miniature iceballs rather than snowflakes. They don't melt as fast.

But my guess is that Loveland will open Thursday. I'm camping Wednesday night!

The plumbers better start busting ass, and the carpet layers better start doing the same.

The roommate and I are considering Grays, avy conditions pending. If it looks dangerous, we'll probably head to St. Mary's instead. Because we're gapers.

Not long now, ladies and gentlemen.

Grays is rocky as fuck right now. It'll be even rockier with more snow to hide the all of it's rockyness. If you ski there, ski slow. Cause it's rocky.

    Really rocky.

    Really rocky.
The last time I skied was last spring when I wrecked myself in a rock field at the top of the beavers.

There was about a foot of powder over no base. And then I had to ski all the way down through the woods and climb out to the road. That hurt and it's a good thing I had on my helmet because it got a dent. Lone Star was with me.

I'm not really scared to ski but I'm going wait a few more day for the wrod.

    Now you're learning....

I'd rather ski a long season, then ski a short season on some big rocks....

My buddy and his wife hit St. Mary's on Saturday and shot a bit of video. My god...that looked absolutely horrible. I've never seen it so suncupped. Just warning you brother.

You won't be saying that when you see what I've got planned for the coming year. My gear issues are solved (hopefully) and I'm going places.

What day do you think Loveland will open? I'm going over next Wed to get my pass and ask. What changes, don't be so coy! Marketing/management - heard about. Trelease - heard about. What else?

ps - you should tour with me sometimes!
