17 years later. One of the best. Probably THE best of 2.0. Just a magical night.

    PHISH, TUESDAY 07/29/2003
    POST-GAZETTE PAVILION AT STAR LAKE
    Burgettstown, PA
Soundcheck: Little Drummer Boy -> Jam, Bittersweet Motel, Funky Bitch

SET 1: Daniel Saw the Stone > Camel Walk, Gotta Jibboo, Cool It Down, Scent of a Mule, Fee -> Timber (Jerry The Mule) > When the Circus Comes > McGrupp and the Watchful Hosemasters, Golgi Apparatus

SET 2: Crosseyed and Painless -> Thunderhead, Brother, Harpua[1] > Bittersweet Motel > Harpua > Fooled Around and Fell in Love[2] > Hold Your Head Up > Harpua > David Bowie

    ENCORE: Farmhouse

[1] Narration concerned Jimmy searching for "IT" and, eventually, joining a rock band and finding "IT" on the road.
    [2] Phish debut.

Daniel was played for the first time since February 23, 1997 (285 shows). Trey teased San-Ho-Zay in Cool It Down. Scent of a Mule included a tease of Wouldn’t It Be Loverly (from My Fair Lady). The jam out of Fee included a Maze tease. Harpua was played for the first time since November 2, 1998 (171 shows). The Harpua narration concerned Jimmy searching for “IT” and, eventually, joining a rock band and finding “IT” on the road. The Phish debut of Fooled Around and Fell in Love was preceded by a HYHU tease. In the soundcheck, Seven Below was teased in the Jam and Blue Bayou was quoted in Bittersweet Motel. so who is going to see phish?

Thx for posting that show! I was completely removed from phish 2.0 up to 2015. Fun going back and listening to the good ones, (I am finding that you need to do some digging), of that time.

lol funny. i have actually never listened to phish in my whole entire life. now my challenge is to keep it that way. No hate on the band, I get the idea. its just now a game to keep my virgin ears clean of their heady noodling.

Hey hippies. Felt like this year and the current situation called for another run of these. PM me your address if you want a few. I’ll get them in the mail pretty soon. Wish I was giving them out at Dicks instead :-(

I have recently resigned myself to the fact that there aren't going to be any shows in summer 2021 either. FUCK.

Huge props to Stapes. He sent me a batch of these, then sent to two friends of mine. And now a couple more coming to me.

After the debate demand for these has skyrocketed

fairly excited for tonights beacon show. Trey seems to have been planning this for a little while and his theme of the "beacon" after the storm of covid seems like it could turn out some solid music. Looking forward to see whats in store
