Tempted to go to Denver. Would be so weird to see a band that I last saw on 11/11/2001.

I saw them in Lowell, it was not good. Maybe with Tizzle being straight now, it could work. But man, it was a serious letdown.

Just watched that If I Could, it’s good, but what’s with Trey’s tone? Sounds like he’s playing a ukulele, the fuck is that?

It got much better when he came out and did Blaze On later in the show. Either way he was patched into the PA and not running his guitar/pedals though his normal amp/rig. Alot of his quality tone comes from the amp/speaker and not just the guitar itself.

Nope, it’s Trey, and it doesn’t work for me at all. WG might have figured it out.

I saw the Lowell and the 2 Roseland shows. I enjoyed them but it was clear folks weren’t living the healthy lifestyle. Excited to see them almost 20 yrs later.

From the videos it looks like he was playing through a Princeton Reverb instead of the massive Komet/Ambikab combination he's been playing lately. Definitely made for a tinnier sound at the low volume he was at, particularly relative to Phish. To my ear, his lead playing in Theme showed the most pronounced effect of this: the massive compression and sustain of the bigger rig just isn't there in the Princeton even when it's being driven to some degree. I think that leads to the tinny/fuzzy/thin sound.

Did anybody else in here hear something rustle? No? Must've been the wind.

I could listen to Trey tell stories indefinitely. These interludes in the acoustic shows don't even feel like performance, it just comes across like a guy who couldn't be happier doing exactly what he's doing. Also, to have been a fly on the wall with Fishman and a bunch of drunk, sad mimes....

I’m IN!!! So pumped. The Met looks like such a sick venue too. 3500 people capacity.

Had to get Nassau tickets too since it’s basically on the way....

    Game on!

They just went to commercial in the Browns-Steelers game with Chalk Dust Torture. Excellent.

so who is going to see phish?

Long shot - anyone have 2 tickets for providence on Friday they want to part with? Been looking on cash or trade, but stuff cycles through there so fast.

Figured If I’m going to Nassau and Philly, might as well hit RI too

    Edit- got em!

My wife “won” tickets to the show at the Met.
    Ugh.
I told her to take one of her girlfriends, but she is dragging me along.
