Fucking taco buffet at the show...
Phish on a beach AND a taco buffet? Fuck, as if I wasn't sold on it already. If they do it again, I'm going to be there.

so who is going to see phish?

Only a fatass thinks about eating during a Phish show. Seriously, I’ve never, ever had anything to eat at a show, ever. It’s 3 hours, do you really need a fucking taco buffet? Lobster Rolls in Bangor, pre-show, let’s Party.

I think the real question is do you need free beer? It's not uncommon for me to drop 100 bucks on beer at shows. So that's 300 bucks at least right there.

Typically I eat before and after the show since food at venues is usually garbage and expensive.

A free taco is a free taco though.

    Mexico 2020 pencils out.

Never done "trust Fund Phish" but I did see NYE 16->17 in a corporate box @ MSG.

All good like minded people and longer term fans.

Food and drink at hand as well as your own bathroom is a nice plus.

what's the deal with Phish putting up video on youtube and then taking it down ? seems pretty lame. If anyone can PM me some links again, or post here. Not super motivated to track down stuff but Mexico on the Beach with live Phish seems like nirvana for 3 hours, if it weren't crazy $$$. Thanks

“Free” beer is free beer. “Free” tacos are free tacos. Neither are bad things!

If somebody is so heady, core, and into the show that these are bad things, hey, personal tastes. But for my part, I love beer, tacos, and Phish.

Free? Nothing is free. You payed a shit-ton of money to be there. The warm beer and shitty food is the least they could do.

I guess that's where the disconnect is. I feel that 2500-3000 for 4 days (750 a day) is not that bad.

Considering that's your food, drink, ticket, daytime activities, transportation, tacos...

    You'd have a great time!

"Free" was the operative word and the quotes were important.

Did you get this worked up when Phish played Europe in 97 and 98? How about Japan 2000? People are always going to spend loads of money on things that other people think aren't worth the cost.

I've got to be at Ferrari of Denver at 9 and then I'll be free. Going to get some fire and spend the rest of the day ablaze. Maybe some beers and wings at Piper Inn.

I'll be back in Nashville by 9am tomorrow. Sucks.

It's a fun hill for sure. I haven't been on it since I left in '96 but with the new lifts there's even easier access to more trees on different aspects so you can always get the snow you're looking for.

Pretty well really. Now if the weather would just cooperate I'd get back out on the bike (or even hiking) but no snow or dirt and just ice isn't much fun when you're a couple of months out of the game. I've been at the gym a few times a week though and doing a lot of walking. Indoor exercise is fkn boring
