Listened to last nights show today while insulating above the garage on a rainy day. Not sure if it was the fiberglass or the mask or what , but hot damn that was an absolutely fantastic second set. The whole show was great, but that set was damn near flawless.

Yup sounds like Chula was all time.

Been relistening to both Eugene shows. Hot damn this band is really back in top form. May have to try for some MSG action in December.

Getting back on next summer and doing a legit 7-10 dates. Vending etc for old times sake.

Home tonight, and, well, 2k miles later, that was one hell of a road trip. So worth it, even without the phish. Fucking amazeballz.

So many life remembering experiences. Just so many sights, sounds, cultures, places, raw experiences. Unbelievable.

I really need to get out of my little valley more often. I just wish gas prices weren't so high, but I camped in some absolutely incredible places over the last week and just met tons of very very interesting people.

Thanks boys. And chula was the tetons. I got my favorite song, piper, in spades, plus a perfect 1st set 2nd set and just all around amazeballz.

Here's a few photos. I don't take digital except to index for my medium format film, but these are a couple index shots to give you a feel for just one day on that trip.

Enjoy. I YEM'd the fuck out of it.

so who is going to see phish?

Opening with Sprach, wow, and one of my favorite Bowie songs, Five Years, damn need to hear this one. Twenty Years Later might be my favorite 3.0 song also.
Just fired it up on the app, Five Years is on point, it’s got the emotional delivery that makes the song so good. Go Phish! So bummed I haven’t seen a show since first night Fenway in July ‘19.

Numbers show, 6 song first set, 9 song second. All songs with numbers. I love this band
This Sprach is next level, the dissonant space going into it gave chills

JK, it's a run not near me at all, but I would love to see them play live together. Only happens a couple times on one's life.

They’re playing just up the road from me at the Lebanon Opera House, had tickets in my cart and decided to listen to some of their stuff. It’s not for me, I like to dance. Acoustic shows just don’t do it for me. I caught Mike Gordon Band at that venue ten years ago and it was a smoking hot show. Their cover of Beck’s, Black Tambourine was insane. They opened the second set with Sailin’ Shoes after we had bumped some lines in the lot during the set break, pretty funny stuff.
