Dammit, I miss having a beard. When I got hired full time I had to sign a form stating that I wouldnt grow a beard or goatee or anything that gets in the way of SCBA. Gotta roll with sideburns, now, or baby face.

Think I'll reserve a spot here, I've got a good head start on ya'll. I was thinking of getting it as scruffy as possible and do a Geico caveman for halloween.

Im not starting yet! Usually first week of November.
Last year on a wet snowy day I had the full on Ice fortress going and ran into the ticket office to see if they could take my picture for next years seasons pass. The girls thought it looked so cool they gave me a new pass on the spot and waived the $20 replacement fee!
So its on my pass this year too.
Space also reserved for this years shaggy mug!

I just started growing a fall/winter beard over the past few years . I don't know why I waited until I was in my 30s to start growing one. Not having to shave every day or so sure as hell is nice.
And yes...definitely got to shave the neck. I'd be a candidate for the connecting neck-to-chest hair look if I didn't. Regardless of the warmth and insulation I am sure this look would be bring, it would not be a classy look for sure.

What the hell would you know about a beard anyway?
I was rocking the chop-stache for the last 2 months, just shaved'er off today. Unfortunately the ole jobby prevents anything other than month long vacation beards for me. Otherwise I'd probably give you a run for your money Rasputin.

I think Rasputin beats us all, to a pulp, with a 2x4. I started growing a week ago. Yet, all I can do is the pre-pubescent Mexican stache, and Buffalo Bill style chin hair. So, we are trying for the goat. We'll see how it goes. I never have been able to grow a good beard... We'll see.

Any recommendations to ease the itch? I use after-shave and it helps a bit. Should it be aloe based?
Also, how long does the itch last usually?
