G3 Skins on Moment Skis
There have been a couple of previous posts on getting skins onto the square tip of a Moment ski, and I want to know how well the G3 Alpinist system works. Doesn't G3 also make a really large metal loop? If you have pictures of your setup, please put them up so I can get a clue how to make this work.
Also, will the biggest BD tip loop work on the Tahoes? That might be a secondary, more backcountry based setup for me, so I would like something as reliable as that.

Loops for BD Ascension skins in the 120mm size did not fit over the tip on my Tahoes. You'll have to go at least 130mm or find a creative way to alter your 120mm loop.

I don't understand why developing a skin attachment system for modern skis is so fucking difficult. Hey product development dudes: The wire loop isn't cutting it anymore, think outside the box.

Alpinist's work great. I don't have any pics, but it's very intuitive.

I just ran into this same problem. I was considering just angling the loop to one side. Has anyone tried this and if so what was the result?
