    Switzerland: Biking, Climbing, Skiing

Always looking to ride (road or trails, no downhilling for me), rock climb, or ski...of course.

Leysin is where I am, in French speaking region.
It's all here in town too!

    And I have space.

2 Americans are driving the CH Autoroute past the exit for Leysin & Glacier3000. He turns to her and says.
" Is that violins I hear playing, honey? Ah, shucks, maybe just banjos. Keep driving and put the pedal to the metal, baby. We've got to hit Zermatt (or, Verbier, or Chamonix, or...) before nightfall. "

Hmmm I went skiing in Leysin about 2 decades ago (I'm ancient actually). Going to Wengen in January, but that may be a bit far!

It has only gotten better! Truly, on a mid-week pow day the Tour d'Ail cannot be beat. Cheaper ticket prices, small lift lines and great pitch for pow under the "rock fortress". These "second-tier" stations in CH provide great skiing when the weather is right.
