It's not old, some may argue about it being a truck, and it is not owned by a maggot, but damn I just had to post it.

I wouldn't trade in the CJ, but on 37's or bigger, those Gladiators are pretty damn sweet.
I guess I just had a slight Scrambler addiction back in the day.

Oh I love the Scrambler. That looks like a Smurf raped a dump truck.

Rollerblades might be fun too but I don’t want any of you heathens seeing me riding in them.

Doesn't do anything for me. I like trucks and jeeps that look like they are useful.

It'd be fun to order one at the dealer.

black rhino wheels cause eye cancer. I cant get over the plastic bolt heads. Plus with all that poke its gotta have terrible scrub radius. Kind of looks like a truck a youtuber would drive and make a video about hellcat swapping.

Agree tho that a gladiator on 37r17 is a good looking truck. Inch per inch same dimensions as the AEV brute, so you cant go wrong. I would definitely run them on a 1552 Analog.

Tire size is everything when you want something to look right. It is even better when it actually works well For those of you that nerd out on that kinda thing, these are pretty dang rare and there is a batch of them online right now.

36x9.5R16, gonna run them on the f100 soon. Looks like a bias ply but is a radial, has the clean military smooth sidewall, and is load rated for a normal truck (~3000#/corner iirc). Plus my truck doesn't have power steering and the 35x12.5 on it now has a lot of contact patch.

Also, these are sweet and super mega cheap.

Kinda weird that they copied the trepador sidewall, so the vibe is a little wrong on a vintage rig, but for $185 for a 35 you cant go wrong.

Thanks for the shout Rev! I've been avoiding TGR lately, but heard you posted a pic of your FJ top and doorless. Looks fantastic. I loved that truck. The Warn looks great on there. Might head your way in June, we should go do some Land Cruisin'.

We've got a handful of long term restorations that are finally sliding out of our shop this spring. Looking forward to posting some pics of them as we get them complete.

If Rev ends up actually listing his 80 for sale (which I have my doubts, he'll probably just tuck it away and hide it from the wife till she forgets about it), any mag should jump on it. It's very well sorted.

I just picked up this 1952 Willys Wagon. Not quite sure what my plan for it is yet. But it's one of those "bucket list" vehicles, so when a good opportunity came up, I jumped on it.

True and yet that one, an 89 with a 350 and fuel injection has always got ~ 18 mpg (13l / 100k) carrying a bunch of weight. Its a 3/4 ton. Gets better mpg than many new trucks. Over 500,000 km still runs like a top. Nothing done to the motor. 3rd trans although the one in it now is a custom build and strong.

With all the people driving like the end of the world out here, good time to be driving a big gnarly truck.

My brother just sold this. I wish that he let me know before he did. He bought it new, and rolled it once. Driven 90% of the time in FL. Mostly a surf vehicle. Otherwise, a small perpetual oil leak.
