Excellent work...pm me if you have any questions on organization etc...i did a dynafit group buy last year.
From my understanding, the vert st's are basically the successor to the comforts. They are almost identical. Both are adjustible. Only the speeds have a stationary heel.
The brakes are interchangeable. Some shops sell them as "optional" because you can use the binders without brakes.

Yes, vertical ST replaces the comfort.
get pricing on the DIN 12 FT version - that is the one every maggot will want. I have enough dynafits, but might consider an upgrade to the DIN 12 if it isn't too much more.
Previous US group buys were never priced as good as sport-conrad and other euro buys, but the dollar is weak these days, so local may be better.. . .

Props for setting this up, may your powders be deep and plenty.

Although I appreciate the enthusiasm for acquiring the FT 12's, but the original conditions posted were for the TLT Vertical ST's... I'll check with the guy about FT 12's, and see what he can do, but I'm guessing that it won't be nearly as screaming of a deal. I know that sfotex is also looking into a group buy, so hopefully he can find a better deal than I.
Thanks for the enthusiasm, and I'll see what we can get the 12-DIN's for...Click here to increase your vocabulary.

That's a great deal.
I just checked, and the pair of Vertical ST I recently bought were for $360 shipped with 92mm wide brakes -
(and the spring sale from dynafit directly was $392 plus $15 to ship for the Vertical FT)
If you need 40 orders, that's going to be hard to do unless you can get the FT12.. . .

Sign me up. I would prefer the 12 din, but it is not a necessity.

Looking for the 12DIN, but may consider Vert St, funds and employment permitting.

Just an FYI that only Speed Lite (and various race models, both Dynafit's OEM and various after-market designs) has a stationary heel piece. The Speed/Classic (initially called the TLT IV, and for awhile called the Tech, although "Tech" is part of the TLT abbreviation) also has an adjustable heel, although a mere 6mm or so total track length. Comfort and Vertical ST/FT are pretty similar to a typical alpine downhill binding in fore/aft adjustment range. (The Vertical Rental binding has an extended fore/aft range.)
Here's a comparison chart:

... although I need to update it for this season.

Got one quote back -
Dynafit TLT Vertical FT Z12 w/ brakes - 247E + ship.
Dynafit TLT Vertical ST w/ brake - 214E+ship
Dynafit TLT Vertical FT w/ brake - 225E+ship.
Dynafit TLT Speed no brake - 171E+ship
Ship should be ~50E total to the US
Is the only difference between the FT and the ST the plate that's underfoot?Last edited by sfotex; 09-10-2008 at 12:28 PM.
