    this is going to be a fun year

    So this year, my school has bought us some fun toys to play with. f2 200mm, f2.8 300mm, f4 400mm, markII body, and a canon HD30 video camera.

    That f2 200 is retarded. I shot a couple pics with it on my buddy's Mark III. It is an absolute beast of a lens.

    nope, SAIT (photojournalism major). also an f4 400mm lens. and they gave all of us a portable studio light. god I love my program. I'm definitely excited to play with the f2, probably have to borrow the markII to get the full effect of it.

    thanks keegan, the "sir" kinda threw me, wrong gender there

    and eldo, you're definitely right about the instructors. kevin was my first semester photo prof in my first year, awesome teacher. i'm already loving frank's class. haven't met greg yet but we'll get him in second semester. now i just have to sort out what i'm doing for my practicum
