    I've only used BD STS ascensions, so I really don't have a frame of reference.

    I have some G3. not sure if they are exactly the same, but the pros are: (compared to BD) lightweight, fold/pack well, and glide better, don't absorb as much water

    con: not as good grip, prolly not as durable, and complaints in past about glue failing in very cold temps not lasting as long, though I believe they have fixed that.

    I like mine.

    edit; also like the tip clips system, fit all ski tips

    Well, MPPG, you just sold me and I bought a pair because well if I hate them I still got a killer deal. I can always pass them along to someone on here if I hate them.

    ya, it's a great deal and you can always unload them on here. I'm always amazed on how much skins retain their value. hope you like 'em.

    I love mine just because the fold-up so well, as I usually stuff them down my pants or in my jacket to keep em warm on the down
