Quality of Office Life
What thing or things make your quality of life in the office better or more enjoyable?
Recently someone was nice enough to bring in a toaster oven on monday.
Ive been bringing in a nice thick slice of buttered french bread everyday this week to toast and it makes me happy. Next i need to bring in sandwiches to toast.
so yea
Toaster ovens at work are nice.

A window to the street so you can watch girls walk by.
You are what you eat.

-A view of some trees blowing around in the wind
-A cube to call my own. (Seriously, I love my cube.)
-A comfy couch to chill out or take a nap on (Although I've been sleeping better recently and no longer need naps at work)
-A diner across the street
-I'll 2nd the toaster oven. Microwaves and a full fridge are useful as well.
-AC in the summertime (hallelujah!)
-headphones so that I can rock out while I get my work on
-days where we all say "screw it" and go to the movies.
-Fat Tuesday (giant burrito day every week)
-A flexible schedule so that I can arrive and leave early to go ride mtbs at 4:00
-A relaxing 2 mile bike ride to work through a women's college campus.
I really love my job.

pool table in conference room. fully stocked fridge with beer, soda, water and juice. Lack schedule. Semi-mandatory thirsty Thursdays. Free coffee and lunch everyday from place of choosing paid for by "petty cash". A suite that is mine with couches, giant HDTV, etc.
yeah, I got it pretty good, I'm not going to complain.

I think co-workers make or break a job, regardless of the environment.
I like having an office with a door and a mountain view.

Working from home
with dogs at my feet
and my daughter sleeping in the bassinet
and music playing.
When I was in cubeville, the free espresso machine was pretty huge.
Sharing an office with a door was pretty much the best thing I ever had, though. Cubes suck for productivity most of the time. You're constantly trying to block out noise, and people interrupt you ALL THE TIME.

-a good co-worker I share a room with to bullshit about randomness all day
-stripper pole in the conference room, at the head of the table

seconded! i used to love my job. now we have a bitch that is taking over how we do business and it's killing what used to be a fairly decent office vibe. it's a very small office 6-7 people and she is trying to change our way of doing work to her previous huge cable company job. fucking cunt. i hate her. i really do.
Reverend F, do you have a job for me?
Other than that: Dogs, personal office, access to TGR, free coffee. Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't
help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

Great coworkers, that's the key. Other than that, a big desk, big enough to lay out D size drawings on, and a big budget for even semi-legitimate projects like my robot.

My view of the lower play hole and town park in summer(can get distracting). Pandora. A full kitchen and 3 bathrooms.

I have, get ready for it, at least 35 places to pee at work!
Down in the mine it's infinity though, I guess.

Natural light, dual monitors, high ceilings, headphones and a sweet view of downtown denver. Being above two bars doesnt hurt a bit either.

A view of the gondola and a ski trail back to the office coupled with a flexible schedule and great co-workers.

We have an excellent quality of office life.
We had a firmwide breakfast this morning from paradise and corner bakeries, stocked fridges with water and soda, nice offices with views and proximity to the 16th street mall.
There will also be beer in a hour.

I have the last office at the end of my hall, so I don't see much traffic at my door. I have a big window and a cool breeze coming through. Music and TGR on. Plenty of room, and my coworkers are great. It seems like everyday someone brings in treats for everyone. Plus, we celebrate everyone's birthday with a huge party. I have lamps and natural light. I also have a pretty big desk.
How the hell did I even get this job?

I miss the 100 yard walk to the gondola, breaks at 4:20, working split shifts 4 days a week, getting "paid" in beer and Grand Marnier.
Now all I like is when gym goes up to lunch and recess. 1.5 hours of lunch with TGR
