    Vancouverites

    We're staying at the Rosedale on Robson tomorrow night. Looking for recommendations for restaurants within a short walking distance. Prefer either NW cuisine or Tapas style somewhere in the $100-$130 range for two people. Ideas?

    $100-$130 will take you to some pretty upscale places. You'll be in Yaletown so there are a number of trendy and good places, but I'll recommend some (that I haven't been to for the most part but relatives or friends have recommended) in the downtown area, out of a gazillion places:

    -Chambard (no reservations accepted so hard to get a seat)
    -Raincity Grill (Denman @ Beach ave)
    -The Boathouse (Beach ave)
    -Gotham Steakhouse
    -Provence Marinaside (not far from where you are staying)
    -Wild Rice (Abbott @ Pender I think)
