A little too much chaos in the F1 race.

The safety car restart crash was horrific.

And they need to do some work on better camera angles for the track.

Wow, that would be an awesome F1 to see in Europe. Combine the trip with sightseeing and eating in Florence. Not far from Maranello to see the Ferrari museums and even rent a Ferrari for an expensive hour. On the list.

the F1 chaos wasn't due to any track deficiency though.... that type of driver error could happen any where.

The no passing on safety car restart before the finish line on a straight into a corner where slipstream was so important caused it.

Leader slowing it up until last moment with the pack all speeding up behind him.

They need to fire whoever is in charge of the broadcast. It's consistenly shitty, race after race.
Not once those idiots did show us the awesome serie of turns 6/7/8 (arrabiata ! ) in one large shot. They always, always, had to cut for just another close up. Infuriating.

If everything is back to normal, no chance. Maybe move the Italian GP from Monza for a couple of years. Italy can't pay for two races.

I think F1 provides coverage at all the tracks now, it used to be that some was done by local broadcasters.

Mostly they do an incredible job. I wonder if the lack of experience at Mugello played into it combined with constraints of Covid and it being the third back to back race. Maybe consulting with MotoGP about how they film there if there are further races?

Yep. too close and then having to cut to another camera too quickly.

Camera coverage of Le Raidillon.... de l'Eau Rouge was better this year than the usual weak sauce.

Honda to leave F1 in 2022.
    Now, that's interesting.

ESPN/Sky coverage > NBC Sports. Hopefully there are more races at Mugello, that track fucks.

Sochi has such a bad viewer experience, watching races there gives me a headache.

F1 runs the cameras on the track.

    formula 1 maggots

I know, I think the track design sucks for viewership. The lack of contrast (sea of gray) drives me nuts.

Also pulling for stroll - the early pit and tire selection wound up biting them. Congrats to Hamilton. That was an exciting race with the conditions - never knew when someone was going to make a costly mistake.

Sure looked for a while Stroll was going to drive off into the distance.

    Champion's drive from Hamilton though.

    Vettel too.

And Perez deserves that second Red Bull seat.
