That's awesome. Can I mention how stoked I get to go skiing when I see you guys hucking cliffs and slaying teh pow in images and viddy posted on here? Great to see proof of hard work paying off.
I just might be the only one....but I usually run it anyway.

For all the pansies that have dropped out of kayaking since 2001. Yakin is fine in 2009. Now that there is'nt much work out there, everyone can go back to being unemployed kayakers. hackeysack sales are gonna go through the roof. For reel everyone needs to take their skirts off and start kayaking again.

^^^
That's a good question. Last I heard, they were back in production in Ottawa. Still under the Mountain Surf name. I also heard there were plenty of backorders to fill. Could be awhile before they are available? I need a new one...badly.

OK, I probably should have spelled out "Montana Surf," as in the guidebook. As in version 2 with updated runs/photos.

Took a nice little oh-shit-rock swim in some sweet class 1 water yesterday. Also got side surfed in a hole for the first time and kind of had fun since I didn't swim. Also ran two class 3 fish weir thingies without a second thought because of the adrenaline rush of chasing down Summits boat! Overall kinda stoked again on kayaking.
Thanks for letting me run your big boat while you tried that in the play boat!

Nice revival of an old thread. Both times i have thought the thread was aimed at me. "begins in S and ends in T". I'm also a little skeered. We went to Pueblo yesterday and surfed user friendly green waves all day long, i still took a stupid swim.
