Huh, same price as the Bird, same price for the Dual pass, just like last year.

$800 for a midweek, might as well just go fro the unlimited IMO.

Wonder what took 'em so long?

I was pretty disappointed in the mid-week price, not even 2/7 less than the full pass.

$500 if you get through the freeskiers society (at the U). It shouldn't be much more this year. This is gonna be my first year buying the full price pass... that's gonna sting. Until it snows, that is.

Where do you go to school?

dartmouth (in NH). i'm spending 3 and maybe more weeks in the 'satch this winter.

you seem to be knowledgeable. do you happen to know if it is possible to obtain a college pass at those prices if you're a student from out of state?

also thinking about washing some dishes at night for a pass... surely something like this must have worked for someone else on here before... any advice would be appreciated

Looks like it's a Utah College only pass this season. Sounds like you better find a dish job at a lodge....

I wasn't part of the freeskiers society and I got mine for 499 or 549 last year. i'm kind of peeved about the 649 pricetag this year

The student pass going up 150 bucks from last year is weak sauce.

It is cheaper to go to the bird now if you're a student. I highly doubt the freeskier society will be able to beat 649 since they charged the same price Alta did last year.
Just ski down there and jump of a somethin' fer cryin' out loud!

I'd agree, if $649 is the case. Alta has little to no cooperation with the Freeskier Society. I can't believe they're up $150. I also know Alta checks with the Utah universities to make sure students are full time. If you drop a class, they clip your pass. Lame.

As far as getting a job... Alta is the way to go. Snowbird doesn't really take care if its newer employees. At best, you could get a 3 days a week pass. Very corporate, tough to show up and get to work. Somewhere like the Peruvian might let you set up shop for a few weeks, but I'd get in touch now.
