Just another "It snowed last night!" thread.

When it's 48 degrees and raining in Plume, that usually means 4 or 5 thousand feet above us it's snowing big, fat, wet flakes.

This morning the ground above 13000' was wearing a blanket of that wonderful stuff.

Right on schedule, the lodgepoles are turning a beautiful orange.

Fantastic!!! And yesterdays afternoon NOAA discussion suggested a possibility for snow in the mountains late this week/weekend. The end of the last heatwave and the beginning of the rain="turn", it feels awesome to not be melting.

I was just sayin the other day to the dude at the liquor store and a customer or two "Are you ready for some winter to get under way?"

They all looked at me like I was crazy and gave me the disgusted O face.

WTF is wrong with people these days?

While I am most ceartainly ready for winter, currently my dearest wish is no days above 85 degrees until next summer...I'm sick of heat.
