Where's the brown spot in the snow where the skier crapped himself?

Really hope those skis are from the 90s and only 63mm at the tip or that kitty is the size of a bear!

Big Kitty. Saw its tracks several times in the basin I was skiing in this morning. Started looking over my shoulder after the second time!

First time I came across them, the tracks were frozen from the clear night but they weren't more than like 12 hrs old.

Then crossed them a few more times higher up and they were fresh from this morning, undamaged by the sun yet squished into the just-softened corn. Bet it was up there looking for marmots. Probably watched me for a good while from some hidey perch. Shudder

94mm wide ski and size 26.5 Tecnica, for reference.... !

Left over from sous vide steak. Will use it to water plants on the deck later.

My housecat Milo has gone feral.

Little rat bastard is out all day hiding in the shrubbery making random appearances almost always out of reach.

Twice this week I've been unable to get him in at night and if I do happen to get him he screams and runs around the house like a Banshee for hours. I've decided to give up and let him live his life to the fullest. If I get him in great. If not well there are plently of places for him to shelter at night. It's all I can do and it seems to be what he truly wants.

    Someone's keeping track! LOL!

Mischa has to get past the NutMeghan first and she a fierce protector of the realm. He snuck into the house a couple times this week and made himself at home playing with toys, attacking the scratching post, nibbling on kibble and napping on a chair. Meghan has been keeping her eye on him. Sometimes she just observes, other times she goes full batshit crazy on him. Then there is Max who is a lover not a fighter. He wants to be friends but is afraid of him and I don't want Max to be uncomfortable in his own house.

It does, Misty has been with us 2 months now and while TG is nice most of the time now, she still occasionally gets a hair up her a$$ and goes off on little Misty, who just wants to be friends.

turns out the best toy in the house we have for the new kitten is an ikea shoe rack that we hang from a pull-up bar. Huey loves it - he uses it as a campus board and goes all the way up, and then hides inside to attack unwitting passersby.

Thanks. Almost wild cat but totally gentle with me. When I could touch him. Here he is when he was king of the street.

Looks like kitteh is at least part Savannah cat or some other African wildcat. Normal-sized ears so definitely not the real deal but super cool still, the markings on his coat are awesome!

As close as you can get from having a tiger in your home... without going all TigerKing that is. Beautiful cat.
