Misty has almost been with us for 3 weeks now. We all adore her and even TG is lightening up and not hissing anymore. We bought her a kitty harness and had her out side with us last night. She was just so cute and such a kitten. We are guessing she is about one. Here she is on her favorite perch where she can watch the humming birds.

He's still silent but he eats, drinks, and runs around as usual. He also managed to hiss at me yesterday which he hadn't done in a while so he's mostly functional. I played with a neighborhood kitty who routinely visits our yard on Sat he was also mute. I'm 99 sure I've heard him meow before so it might be something contagious going around. Strange that none of out other furry assholes haven't lost their voice though...

She is still tiny, you can see how loose the XS harness was on her. I am guessing she is about 1, but she has big paws, so I am thinking she will be a big girl in a year or two.

Miss Mayhem does that in the small landing at the top of the stairs. It's annoying. Further proof that cats would be just as happy killing us and eating us.

We have a long rug in the hall and every morning when I get up 3 of the 4 cats are flopped down along the rug waiting for breakfast (the 4th one lives in a kitty castle at night otherwise he'd be on that rug too). They won't move until they've established I'm going to the kitchen (which means feeding time) and not just to the bathroom. I have to slalom between them and on the way back from a bathroom trip I'm guaranteed a couple of disappointed swipes...

Hobbes has had paws the size of a mountain lion since she was a kitten but never grew into them. I was expecting her to turn into a hoss based on those hooves but she's relatively petite.
Contrast that with Ugly who is like a keg on stilts with dainty little paws... That being said Misty kinda looks like Wolverine so it's entirely possible she'll grow to be the size of a Maine Coon.

I've read that if you wait a couple hours after you wake up to feed them they don't mob you first thing every morning. I have not worked up the bravery to try this though.

Sounds like a good way to become feed yourself for sure. Our kittehs are so vocal in the morning too that without noise cancelling headphones I wouldn't last 5 minutes.

Praxis has an auto feeder that takes care her for 5 days at a time. She doesn't need me for food services until it's empty, and she makes that obvious.

It has five different trays that rotate once per day. Only one can be eaten out of at a time. It's pretty sweet. She can't pig out that way.

I was cleaning photos off a 2014 laptop before scrubbing the hard drive and found all my old pictures of Amber and Shadow. I sure miss those two. One of my favorite pics of the best cat that ever graced my life.
