Misty has almost been with us for 3 weeks now. We all adore her and even TG is lightening up and not hissing anymore. We bought her a kitty harness and had her out side with us last night. She was just so cute and such a kitten. We are guessing she is about one. Here she is on her favorite perch where she can watch the humming birds.

Draw me like one of your French girls:
Artie the mute lion getting carted off to bed like an empty sack of flour.
He's still silent but he eats, drinks, and runs around as usual. He also managed to hiss at me yesterday which he hadn't done in a while so he's mostly functional. I played with a neighborhood kitty who routinely visits our yard on Sat he was also mute. I'm 99 sure I've heard him meow before so it might be something contagious going around. Strange that none of out other furry assholes haven't lost their voice though...
Cue everyone googling kitty covfefe-19 symptoms.Last edited by Boissal; 06-01-2020 at 02:50 PM.

We have a long rug in the hall and every morning when I get up 3 of the 4 cats are flopped down along the rug waiting for breakfast (the 4th one lives in a kitty castle at night otherwise he'd be on that rug too). They won't move until they've established I'm going to the kitchen (which means feeding time) and not just to the bathroom. I have to slalom between them and on the way back from a bathroom trip I'm guaranteed a couple of disappointed swipes...
Hobbes has had paws the size of a mountain lion since she was a kitten but never grew into them. I was expecting her to turn into a hoss based on those hooves but she's relatively petite.
Contrast that with Ugly who is like a keg on stilts with dainty little paws... That being said Misty kinda looks like Wolverine so it's entirely possible she'll grow to be the size of a Maine Coon.

I've read that if you wait a couple hours after you wake up to feed them they don't mob you first thing every morning. I have not worked up the bravery to try this though.
