Tigger likes chairs too. Specifically my (actually, formerly mine) stool on the kitchen island. He graciously does allow me to use it if he's not around.

Full disclosure: not my photo, not my cats.

I did find it amusing, though.

This is Tabby, out mostly outdoor cat. She comes in for food but does like to play with KQ's wool toys.

No cats for me as the last cat had stomach issues and shat up the house so the wife will have none of that. This girl is a kitten of some ferals living out behind the building at work. None of the ferals will let you get too close. 2 weeks ago she never came to me, but i could tell she wanted to. Yesterday it was like she was a different kitty, rubbing up against my leg and then letting me pet her up and later trying to follow me inside.Click image for larger version.

Yup... come on now JD, are you going to let that little girl shiver in the cold this winter?

Bet she doesn't either. My barn cats, all raised by their mother and taught to foraged (I do feed them kibble) don't ever seem to have issues. My house cats are another deal - someone found them and took them in when they really still needed to be with mom (mom was around but they couldn't trap her so they just took the kittens - WTF?).

From day one of me getting them they've had horrible digestive issues. The gal who originally had them (claims she used to be a vet tech... I doubt that) fed them several different crap foods which I believe messed them up good esp. since what they really needed was mother's milk or at the very least replacement milk. It took me a long time to dial in the right food for them and even still it's a delicate balance - have to be careful not to upset the apple cart.

Kittens need to be raised by their mothers. Kittens that start out feral seem to be more well rounded IMO.

    Hmmmm ......

No need for pre-school, just let all the kids go feral for a few years; smart 'em right up!
