Our cats are dead ringers for each other. Imagine if you will your guy running full speed from the front patio area to the side yard and up a tree (about 20 feet off the ground) trying to get a crow, which is bigger than Misty. I had to get a hose and spray her a bit to get her out of the tree. My little girl is fearless.

Not as clean as the other felines in the house, definitely a bit funky. Letting him in the bedroom at night is always a dilemma, if he stuck to sleeping on the blanket at the food of the bed I wouldn't mind but he's a pillow sleeper and really wants to get close to my face... If he gets on anything white it had to go straight to the wash.

Definitely better than a dog. Bosco smells of ass and old man even if he gets shampooed on a weekly basis. And that's not even taking the breath into consideration.

I really do believe they thrive in love.

That turned into a beautiful cat.

    And so was Jackson.

^^ he's definitely filled in quite a bit.
Agree on adoption. Kitties are low maintenance and provide endless entertainment. And I think kitty love is more rewarding than dog love. The latter is boundless and unconditional. The former is fickle at best, it makes it that much sweeter when they want to be your friend after randomly hating you for a week.

More Ugly. All that straw is probably on my pillow by now:

    I heart Ugly.

My two house cats that I won't let out because of the smoke are going to kill me in my sleep, I just know it.

Keeping them in is more for me than them - don't want to have to open the door any more than necessary and they are the types that come in and out, in and out, in and out. Shutting them out is not an option as they are not bold outdoor cats but they do like some outdoor time on the patio sunning and chasing grasshoppers. Their brother is a wild thing like Ugly and I can let him out and leave him out but not these guys so in they stay until the air clears.

Miss Mayhem wasn't an official rescue. However, the folks who had her really needed to get her mom fixed and stop having kittens with every stray in the hood. She came from a sketchy situation.

Every morning when I wake up I take the animals outside to walk down the block so they can do their thing somewhere other than the yard. TG has always followed us down the block as she is a Puppy Cat. We are now training Misty to do the same thing. People are always amazed by my pack following me down the street. My neighbor on seeing Misty (our newest addition) asked me what I am running a zoo? I told him we just love animals, have the room and they need good homes, so he should try it too. He gave me a "you're crazy look"

This thread is way too good natured for TGR. No but seriously, y'all some great kitty lovers.

And Djongo - did I read that right - you got two kittens?! Gonna need more than a single pic. Head scratches to the Head Honcho, hopefully he knows he's still running the place.

Yo T.! Yeah, I decided to foster these 2 five week old kitty sisters. I need to figure out what I want, a baby or an elder again.
    Hadn't had baby kitty's around since 1994...

It's been great so far. They're so tiny, yet rough and tumble. 2 hrs. on, 2 off for nappy time.

Littermates have already worked out their issues. It’s a lot easier to keep them together then to split them up and try to integrate them with other animals.

    You’re doomed to keep ‘em.......

So cute! I have that too. My cats pop the ball out all the time and I have to go looking for it.

OMG look at these guys! I'd ask you to give em some belly rubs for me, but I'm seeing some weapons-grade mitts lol.. I also haven't had any kitten access for years. They're so insane and playful at that age, enjoy!

ooohhhh I've been trying to talk andrew into a kitty since our border collie passed away this spring, I think Baxter needs another buddy around the house. and he's a terrier with an attitude, so I think he would get along great with a cat
Should we plan some kitty meet and greet and you can help me accomplish my plan?? (who can resist taking home a kitten once you meet it? Not my husband)

Or are you trying to get Benny secretly attached enough to keep em both? :P
