When the drunk across the street passed away, he left 3 kittehs orphaned. AC was able to collect one and brought it to the shelter, the other two are skittish as shit, but either found another home, or have just become more or less feral.
Anyway, I still see the bigger one around years later, fatter than ever, and the little bastard has apparently decided the best place to shit in the entire town is under the porch in our fenced front yard. Our dogs now spend half their time outside looking for kitteh turd-treats under the porch, and almost always come out chomping. I thought about live trapping, or maybe attaching some lattice-work to the porch, but AC tried live traps after neighbor died, and the cats were too smart, not to mention my not really caring enough to do anything but bitch here...
I've had several cats that were great pets, and personality plus, but that was before meeting my wife who is a rat fanatic. Between the 10+ rats at any given time, and our Scottie who literally trembles with excitement/aggression anytime he sees a cat, we probably won't have another any time soon.
Saw a cat on my walk to work a few months back. Said a few cat friendly things, and kitteh flopped on his side and started rolling on his back in the street. Made me laugh out loud. Good kitteh! Cats can be awesome.

Baxter stoke.
He dragged the lighter colored rug halfway across the other one.

Djongo, yep. Baxter's black with a touch of white on his chest. My heart melts for black and tuxedo kitties. Gotta dose him with catnip before I can even attempt to put the harness on

Lutzi would certainly appreciate the compliments my friend but I should say she isn’t our’s. Mrs Jupiter is allergic to cats which is a bummer. But Lutzi is the next best thing to that, she’s our downstairs neighborfriend’s, so we take care of her when they’re away and get to see her all the time. She is a great cat, quite the personality. Baxter sounds far more athletic and ambitious by comparison.

I guess that was a bit vague. I was laughing that maybe he was named after Baxter Black, that Cowboy poet guy.
He looks sharp. Centuries ago all blacks would get crossed with another for a touch of white. Lotsa folks would kill an all black out of superstition.

Lol,nah. I planned a trip to baxter st park in Maine last year before I got him and I guess that's where it came from.
Yeah, I still occasionally hear about killing black cats out of superstition, esp when my sis was living in NYC around Halloween

Love the black and white kitties stoke.
Shadow is improving too. Put out an ad for "found cat" last week and so far no takers. Legally after 3 months he can be mine.
