One issue with a kitten to be warned of in advance, it WILL bug the shit out of the older pets. Not a reason to avoid getting one, just something to be aware of, and plan for as best you can. Make sure the older pets can isolate themselves if they so choose. We got a kitten for my 10 yo toy poodle and those two knuckleheads barely share a full brain cell between them. They wrastle all over the house. Partners in crime at times. However, the dog gets sick of the constant shenanigans and just wants to take a nap. Teh kitteh gets bored and wants to bother, bother, bother. The dog's tail is one of her favorite toys.

That's funny as hell. Looks like they're calling for the other cats to come out.

Adopted this guy last summer, we were calling him Honcho but as he's gained quite a bit of weight now he's Catty Arbuckle.

LOL, mirror image. So many cool cats (and dogs in the other thread). I want to get a cat so bad but the wife is not on board after our last cat was a spiteful, but beautiful, bengal that shit up the house. She forgets Mr. Buddy, our cat before that who was so low maintenance and only used the litter box indoors when there was a foot of snow.

We had a bengal that was a rescue that did the same thing. Needless to say it didnt work out. These kittens on the other hand have been extremely successful in litter box usage.

^ There’s some potential drama in that picture, looks like kitty just might make a move on that piece on the wheel.

Or it’s hypnotized and will just stare, stoner-like, until some loud noise wakes it.

This. Little Miss Mayhem is still very much a kitten in body and mind. I wasn't home, so I don't know how it went down, however, I can imagine. Kitteh was probably surprised to find the door open and somebody in there. She was likely feeling busted because she usually goes into the studio to poach the sponges my wife uses. They are a favorite plaything, we will find them all over the house. The basement studio now has a screen door to keep Kitteh out and still allow the dehumidifier to do it's thing.

That too. I can relate to Kitteh, as I have the same reaction to my wife.

If Miss Mayhem made a move on the bowl she would probably get dunked in the water bucket. My wife has her limits.
