Misty has been with us for 8 months now and has finally graduated up to use of the entire yard. Her she is up in the neighbors tree.

Got a new cat skirting around the farm. Only comes out at night. Been feeding it and talking to it while I put the food out. Never see it but it's out there waiting and listening because food is gone within minutes of me putting it out.

Probably a little under a year. Grey tabby with a tuxedo. Not sure of the sex.

My latest feral (black) is kind of a handful. I’ve been using a squirt gun and seem to have trained him not to swipe his claws at me when I put food down for him, but I still put on leather gloves and a heavy canvas jacket when I take food to him - he drew blood early on. I feed two ferals and a reasonably affectionate neighborhood outdoor one - all male - and sometimes there are some loud territorial disagreements, which is annoying. But they’ve all got warm shelter, food, and water, and I get to fulfill the promise l made my wife.

Hobbes is half-wild and will always position herself with full view of a room and several escape paths. She never counted on having to deal with a senile cat who will walk right up to her and box her in. There was a good 2 minutes of hissing and growling to try to shoo him away before I took this pic. She eventually waited in her corner for him to be done, looking quite shocked that he didn't respond to her threats.
