Miss Mayhem is pissed at me. I warned a squirrel last night just as she was about to pounce. It was close, but squirrel got away. Those suckers are mine if things really go south. I don't want her killing them all now.

    Kitty Stoke

Good news! Had to mow the yard this afternoon so I opened the (detached) garage door, and there he was. He's been in there since Sunday morning at about 10am, so about a 54 hour ordeal in the dark. He came out like nothing had happened, wanted breakfast and a head scratch.

My dog has been bummed about the missing kitty so he gave him a good long sniff and then did zoomies around the yard.

Back to his favorite dirt bed behind the garage:

Finally invested in my own live trap yesterday. Need to trap and fix (and get vaxxed) that long haired black cat that is hanging out. He's not looking so great. Not sure what happened but on both his sides he's been scraped down to the skin. Large patches too. Practically his entire side like he got caught or something.

I have an appt for him on June 1st. Hopefully I can get him. So hate having to trap them but there is no other way with some of the real wild ones.

Marbles coming to get me. Not bad for 12 years of garage living.

We are trying to fatten up old man Simon and wet food is the only thing he'll actually go for these day. We lock him in a room with it for 30 minutes so he can do his thing. The other cats caught on and line up at the door screaming for grub. Ms Boissal is easily manipulated by the felines so she gives the lid of the can to Ugly (he's not food driven at all) and the bottom of the can to Artie the demented lion. He will defend it with his life from Hobbes, who, given her chunky status, doesn't get anything until he's done. Thus the long face.

Maybe flea allergy making him lose hair. Gets harder when they get older.

I think he's under 2. Looks more like he was scalped.
