Is that even legal to diagnose your pet but not give you a prescription to be used elsewhere?
That was never a hurdle for me then.
If so, I'd consider moving on if possible. I'm like that.

All der kittayz look great by the way. Chao has come so far, looking great.
I'd take Square face or Ugly kitty any day. Luv those mugs.

I have wanted to punt on this vet but it's the wife's call on this one He's a good vet and I understand he's running a business BUT every time we're there they want to sell some fucking add on service. He's gotta pay for his fridge full of sparkling water and fresh baked cookies somehow in the waiting room. I fucking hate all that customer experience shit at any business that leads to 20% upcharge.

You guys are good to me thanks. Square face is such a brilliant looking guy and he has a favorite look of mine.
And Fireball, I love that guy too. Would scoop him right up.

And KQ's menagerie would have me kitty stoked to 11. Loves the lil' Mischa gal.

Farina used to bring the mice/voles in alive, that's even worse. Cuz' now she's done and I gotta corral them out the door. She'd flop down and give me the look... 'what, you don't kill voles? Puss...

And then the Fox family next door moved in under the horse tack shed. A brindle tod and a red/fawn vixen with about 8 kits.
Yappity yap and so cute when they'd all roll out at dawn for a feed.

I researched and found out that they are not really interested in cats too much.
One day, I'm driving down the dirt road to the abode and there's Farina and the vix having a staring contest across the single lane; both sitting on their haunches.
I slow down and think how cool is this. Then it occurs to me that if that fox snatches her right before my eyes, I'm gonna split an atom and go nuclear.
I hit the gas, the fox trots back to the den and Farina walks over and greets me at the porch.
Man, those were good days in the life.

Awwwww, he's come so far from that scared little kitten in the litter box. He's happy you're feeling better.

Brian Bilston wrote this poem for national pet day.
    Cat Under Lockdown

My cat has been adapting to the lockdown
rather well, it must be said

She leaves the sofa for very limited purposes,
exercising once a day in the flower beds

never failing to wash her paws
for at least two hours upon her return

She no longer meets friends or relatives
who do not live in her home,

But contents herself in catching up with them
on Skype or Zoom. Should other cats

intrude on her territory, she's always careful
to maintain her social hiss stance

And she deplores the action of her neighbor
who has been stockpiling mice for weeks.

She bears it all with great fortitude
although she knows everything is changed.

    and, when ambulances go by,
they will wake her and she will look at me

as if to say, don't worry, I'm here,
I have no plans to go anywhere
what's so funny about peace, love, and understanding?
