Every night, this dang cat clings to me while I watch TV. Cute kitty but dumb as a box of rocks.

Sad to hear of Bub's final walk to the bridge. It's so tough to raise a friend from infancy to elder and finally have to let them go.

Couple minutes after I took this he fell off the back of the touch directly on top of Ugly. Mayhem ensued.

I'm glad that our old cat isn't the only ungraceful, non-cat-like feline in the group.

He is CONSTANTLY eating shit. At least this time he fell on the good side of the couch, sometimes he rolls off the back and bonks his head on the bench then he roams around angrily meowing at everything in his way.

Well old man Artie is missing. Hasn't been seen since the morning after I took the picture. He never goes more than 30' from the house and I can't remember not seeing his ass for more than an hour at a time so we're worried. The neighbor claims she saw him across the street yesterday which would be a major even for him, I don't think I've ever seen him go halfway down the driveway. He's completely senile and rather uncoordinated so 36 hours MIA doesn't bode well. Are cats like elephants, going away and hiding when they know it's their time?

cats absolutely will leave to go die though, that's a very well documented behavior.

I have torn my house apart (or thought I did) looking for a cat and not found them then a short time later they come out from some hidey hole. They can get into some pretty tight spaces and make themselves practically invisible sometimes. Hope Artie is has just gone to earth in the house somewhere.

Miss Mayhem has a loveseat she likes to climb inside. As a kitten it was one of her main stash places and hangouts. She would also reach through and torment anyone sitting in it. It's a split reclining unit with a console so lots of space and openings.
