He seems to be happy about it as of this morning, here he is doing his standard pose as lord-of-the-long-paw:

Whoever got that on Ugly didn't need medical attention after, or were welding gloves used?

He was unbelievably calm during the 90 seconds process. I filmed the whole thing as I though for sure the cops would never believe the wounds were inflicted by a cat and not a knife-wielding crazed husband.
He patiently sat there with his head covered for a good 20 seconds then got his whole face stretched down when the tight collar went over it. No clawing when Ms Boissal bent his legs around to get in place. He did fall over the second she let him go and is still walking around like he has a very swollen scrotum but overall no violence and he seems pleased.

It's funny you mention that. Yesterday was vet day. It is amazing how cats keep us guessing. Howling like banshees one moment. And a limp ball of fur the next. Miss Mayhem is still sulking. I was expecting to lose a digit given the noises she made there and back in the cat carrier. She just went limp the moment the vet assistant took her out of the carrier. And resumed howling when I put the carrier back in the vehicle.

LOL! I used a Suitacle on my girl after I got her fixed to keep her from pulling at her sutures and she did the same thing - fell over sideways like Arty Johnson on Laugh-in. It was hysterical.

^^ Very accurate. One of our cats loves to serenade me through the door when I'm on calls. Once I let him in he either gets on the desk or my lap and creates chaos or perches himself on the couch behind me and very conscientiously cleans his ass. Once in a while he stops with a leg straight up in the air and stare at the screen for a good 30 seconds. Quite the mindfuck for some of my Indian coworkers apparently, it freezes them mid sentence.

This suitcase was out after our last trip and Sutter decided he liked it as a bed. I guess now it's a permanent fixture in the living room--at least until he gets tired of it!

We just picked up a couple new puffy fleecy blankets for the house. Giving them a wash. Once done though, these furry little fuckers are
    gonna go bonkers.

Yup, Squeek will jump up on the recliner behind my desk chair, where she has the perfect perch to look over my shoulder at the monitor, paw at my shoulders and head for attention and generally distract conference attendants. Gotta keep the door closed, so she goes next door and bugs Ms TBS

I bought Ugly a heated mat to go in his fuzzy bed.
He still prefers the vent, especially with this new pillow:

Our cat does that super-uncomfortable pillow shit, too. That CANNOT be comfortable. Though... there they are.

While an awkward pose Ugly looks pretty content there.
