Max is insane when I do yoga - meow...meow.. meow... threading himself through my legs and arms the whole time then when I go to shavasana he flops down beside me and purrs.

Absolutely refuses to do Downward Dog.

I guess cats would find our yoga kinda boring. One of ours is right now pointing a leg straight to the sky while keeping the other one flat on the ground, and reaching down to lick around the ankle.

Yay! That little tool is great - firms the toys right up and it's just about the safest tool out there for people of any age to use. Be sure you have the toy on something foam like when you use it - those needles can go all the way through. When I make the toys I use individual needles to start. I have a set of different sizes and barb configuration. I also have another one by the same company that made the one you bought that has 3 needles which, like the 5 needle one, is good for finishing.

Re: the tomato - I have a plan to make heirloom looking ones (green zebra, Berkeley tie-dye, Hillbilly bi-color) and package them 3 to a pack so my friend who has a farm stand and specializes in heirloom toms can sell them with proceeds going to local shelters.

Bet she doesn't either. My barn cats, all raised by their mother and taught to foraged (I do feed them kibble) don't ever seem to have issues. My house cats are another deal - someone found them and took them in when they really still needed to be with mom (mom was around but they couldn't trap her so they just took the kittens - WTF?).

From day one of me getting them they've had horrible digestive issues. The gal who originally had them (claims she used to be a vet tech... I doubt that) fed them several different crap foods which I believe messed them up good esp. since what they really needed was mother's milk or at the very least replacement milk. It took me a long time to dial in the right food for them and even still it's a delicate balance - have to be careful not to upset the apple cart.

Kittens need to be raised by their mothers. Kittens that start out feral seem to be more well rounded IMO.
We adopted 2 kittens, one was feral for a while, the other left for dead to freeze in a ditch with her sister

The feral cat barfs more easily and frequently than the other., (and she only does because it's an over-eating situation)

We always used high quality kibble with a treat, (about 1.5 TBSP each) of wet food morning and evening

Cats are weird, sometimes we go months with no barfing, then...the feral one is hyper nervous, the other is a foodie, as she'll eat all the food

The brother of the Queen that took over my barn and had a couple litters was like that - he'd eat so fast that he would barf. He was fine otherwise - fat and happy. His sister did not do that, not sure what was up with him.

Edit/add: so yeah... having an animal in your house will mess it up one way or another Hopefully someone will trap them and find them a place to live.

Milo lays claim to the wool pillow I use as a felting pad to make catnip toys. It might smell like nip. LOL!

It's not like he doesn't have a ton of actual nip toys.

Shit that annoys me: I watched Miss Mayhem run across the road directly in front of a car this morning. In typical teenager fashion she denied it. I can't really make her an indoor cat at this point. She is an escape artist as it is with us trying to keep her in at night.

Yikes! Spending her lives willy nilly. Maybe her new toy will keep her home seedy last for a bit.

Meanwhile at casa KQ it looks like the horses & donks are going to have to wait for their breakfast:

He looks pretty darn healthy for feral. Bet he's got a regular route for handouts.

Edit/Add: Guess it's national black cat day. How appropriate.

He’s taken to living at my place in one of those heated houses that come from Chewy. He gets fed well, believe me. He’s put on a pound or two and his coat has improved a lot since he trained me to give him regular meals.
