I'd like to see the pictures that were taken right after the ones featured. Judging by the look on some of those cats faces I'm willing to bet that more than a few involved a swift paw swat.

Square has a little blood on his paw. He’s not really hurting. Gonna have to examine.

Clean it if you can. One of my cats got a cut/bite like that on his paw that totally blew up. We ended up at the vet at 3am on a holiday. Not good.

If you have some Vetericyn use that to irrigate it (or you can just use some saline like people use for contacts).

I know it's probably not possible but shaving it with clippers will help you see what exactly is going on - if it's a puncture like from a bite or if he caught it on something and tore it.

Justice for Oreo! On several levels...
IIRC (too lazy to go back) your vet costs were about double that, no?

He looks well cared for. Funny how many cats have that little nick in one ear or the other.

She. I think she must have been a pet that got dumped as she is super friendly. I took her into the vet for a check up and to see if she was fixed and it appears so esp. since she hasn't had a litter yet.

No this one I'd like to keep. She is currently living in a wood pile on my property and I feed her twice a day. I'd hoped to work her into the barn with the cats that are there but one of them would have none of it and chased her off quite forcefully so now the plan is to get her into the shop by the house but the one I'm trying to rehome needs to be dealt with first.

He is currently at the vet (just dropped him off) to have "brain surgery" as my vet calls it. If he calms down after that he can stay but otherwise I will try to find a place for him. He is young, around 7 months, and wants to be friendly with me but his testosterone is getting in the way with regard to being nice to my other cats.

Sigh... I am a stray magnet.
