Thanks. Pure bred Bengal. He is more wild than tame. Blood stained carpet this morning; at lease he eats what he kills.

This morning, our 12 lb tabby cat stalked, chased, attacked and humbled the 80 lb husky/lab we are dog-sitting. For the second time. Pretty impressive, considering the dog is a dominant bitch.

No pics but it went down in a similar fashion to this, without the French-language hysterics:

"... Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to your body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much: I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this: you will outlive the bastards." – Edward Abbey

No pics but this is hilarious. We have 2 cats and a dog. One cat and the dog sleep on the bed with us and the other cat sleeps in a basket on top of the fridge. The cat on the fridge hates the dog and the other cat and keeps her distance. 2 nights ago i wake up at 3am to take a leak. No need for lights as its an easy familiar walk. While whizzing cat rubs up against my legs and I pet the little guy. I get back in bed and realize cat 1 and the dog are still in bed. The other cat is normally anti social so I get up and take a walk downstairs and see cat 2 sleeping in basket. I figure cat 2 walked into bathroom said hi and went right back to sleep in basket. I go back to sleep. Wake up, feed furkids and go skiing. Last night the Furkids are acting strange but settle down and go to sleep as normal. Ski today get home and feed the furkids. Hour later I open the door to let the dog out and a cat runs out the door between my legs. The dog has no interest in going out and walks back to kitchen. Not unusual. I walk into the kitchen and BOTH cats and the dog are sitting on the kitchen floor. WTF!!! We had a freeloading stray cat chilling in our house for who knows how long. In hindsite the signs were all there. Food dishes were cleaned out, kitty litter over loaded , my cats acting spooky for a couple of days. Nice looking cat, I wonder where he went?

Kitty Stoke bump. Been kicking around the idea of getting another cat. My wife hates the idea so I am pretty sure I know how this is going to turn out. Then again, I hate pickled herring but that doesnt stop her from bringing it into the house. I asked my daughter what she would name the cat and she said "Poogerhein." I like it.

    Keep posting your Poogerheins.

Jemma was a shelter cat. She had been a resident for two years, after being taken out of a hoarder house. Understandably, it took her a little while to adjust to her new home.
The first three days looked like this:

Then on day four, this happened.

    She's much happier now.

Jbenjamin was also a shelter cat. He was found on a dirt road, and ended up crawling into the duct work of a house. He made it all the way downstream to the furnace when it kicked on, resulting in some horrific burns to his paws and stomach. He has a bunch of fused pads, and he's missing a toe, but otherwise he's a happy kitty.

We thought Jemma would be a good mom for him, but it turns out he likes his Momma Jakey better.

Sorry for the loss man, that's a bummer. I got a black guy named Frankie too (Frank Black, actually)! He's the best!

Ninja, our tuxedo rescue (see post 54) went to the big litter box in the sky in 2012. Very similar behavior to Caucasian Asian's tuxedo

Squeak is our new four-legged kid. We are her third home. When just off the teat, she was thrown in with two mature cats, two yapper dogs and no supervision. She clawed some furniture. Her humans declawed all four feet. She expressed her opinion on that by repeatedly peeing in the human's shoes. After a three month stint in the shelter, she went home with an elderly lady who burned her house down two months later. Back to the shelter then home with us.

Here she is saying "Hi Sailor"

Yeah, mine want to go out at 3am. They let me know by walking on my pillow/head and if that doesn't work they try to knock over the bedside lamp. When they want back in they jump on the metal roof. *BOING*BOING*BOING*

Hmmmmm, interesting. Wonder what is so scary about cucumbers. Obviously the Bell peppers aren't causing any alarm. May have to pick one up today at the supermarket to conduct my own experiments.

Lol, my female, Littlkitty, is fascinated by ice cubes. I regularly put them in the water bowl and she will pook at them until they are all gone. Luckily I do not have to do this at 6am.

Let us know how the cucumber thing works out KQ.
