I think I've become a cat rescue.
Spent yesterday going back and forth to the Humane Society for the new stray. Had him fixed, check for viruses and vaccinated. Kept him in last night and just now let him out. Hopefully he'll stay my property. Will continue to put food out for him.
This morning Alice was sick. Lethargic, throwing up and pink cloudy pee. Rushed her to the vet. Two hours later (and countless dollars) I bring her home and let her out. She seems okay. Blood work checked out okay. Vet thinks maybe a UTI. Gave her Convenia (antibiotic) and and anti-nausea drug. Wait and see with her. Very strange, she seemed fine last night. Is out walking around now.
Still trying to trap the long-haired black cat without luck.

Mr Kitty is in the hospital right now.
I knew he was in pain and not right yesterday, made an appointment and took him to the VET today, The Vet had me rush him to the animal hospital.
He could not pee, his Blatter was full of blood. Just got a call from the hospital. His now has catheter into his Blatter and is on an IV. They are worried about kidney damage, But said he is doing OK.
I am not even gonna talk about the $$ Just does not matter when it's your buddy.
Anyway, how much does this suck

They have been calling me every 8 hours and giving me updates.
He still has blood In his blatter. but they say he is doing well. Or better anyway. He has to stay another day. But they sound upbeat.
I think he is bering well cared for

Good Mews! So glad the prognosis is positive. Looks like Mr. Kitty is in the best possible hands at that animal hospital.
Have you (or anyone here) ever heard of/tried "Pretty Litter"? It changes color if your cat's urine is out of pH balance.
https://prettylittercats.com/?gclid=...xoCEy4QAvD_BwE
It keeps tabs on your cat's health by changing color.
Cats are notorious for hiding illnesses, so it's often hard to tell if they are sick or in pain. PrettyLitter makes it easier for you to know if your cat is experiencing a potential health issue before urgent medical care is needed, saving you money, stress and potentially your cat's life..

I went and picked him up. He is home now. Seems fine, he is munching away.

Every Saturday a friend of mine has "cat face eggs" (it's his ritual). Today he sent me a picture because he said "they came out purr-fect!" LOL!
