It was fitting that this was the scene when I walked out of the vet’s office where he was put down.

This year's harvest drying in the hay barn and there's still more I've left growing. A lot better than last year.

My wife has become enamored with the cat/kittens. Our basement is being transformed into a feline utopia. Amazon provided the cat door, now they can come and go into our basement at their leisure. One shake of the cat treat bag brings all of them in.

I was at the grocery store and perused the cat treat aisle. Figured if I was going to be cooking and drinking wine all day I might as well treat the kippens.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Is that catnip or metal shavings?

^^ It doesn’t say, “includes metal shavings.”

Our city has a trap, neuter, return program for stray cats. My wife picked up a trap and we managed to trap the one female kitten. She took her to the facility on Monday, today it showed back up again at our house. It’s no worse for the wear other than a clipped ear to signify she’d been sterilized. Although, the momma cat keeps hissing at her, we’ve read she probably smells different and mom will accept her once the medicine gets out of her system.

Holy smokes! Check out the price on the Olive/black outdoor heated house. Haven't seen it this cheap for a long time .

Nice price. Of course I already have 3 heated outdoor cat homes that I paid full price for.

Aspen has quite a few nesting spots around the house and in the garage. Just found another one.

I have a pethora of these heated houses but picked up two more because the price was so good. My barn cats are getting old (14) and really rely on them. I'd hate to have one stop working in the middle of winter when it's minus temps so I decided to err on the side of caution.

    Not a bad plan.
