    Kitty Stoke

We now have a kitty so I can participate in this thread vs lurking. my mom passed away a few weeks ago so we adopted her cat.
It’s been awhile since we had a cat in our life- you forget how the dog is your best friend and you can communicate pretty decently whereas a cat feels like we are hosting a wild beast in the house

She and Baxter are basically on the same program -lie around in the sun so they get along

They seem to have common general outlook on life, too, based on facial expressions.

A lot of emotions there, written and visual.

    Very sorry to hear that.

    Vibes to you both.

Vibes Baby Bear. The anniversary of my mom’s passing was last week, and the memories are still difficult. Vibes to you and Kitty

Fall color and feral cat - I call him My Friend. Pretty nice guy, but still will rip me to shreds if I try to pet him.

Lost another. Don't know how much more I can take. A life without fur babies seems so empty but how can I keep doing this knowing they will die?

^ Aw, damn. I’m so, so sorry to hear that. It’s a sad thing, really sad.

They’re lucky to have you, and you’re lucky to have them.

Charlie fell asleep while her toy just kept wacking her in the face. I'm still getting used to being a cat person but she loves me especially since I make the heatbox for her(we're all wood heat).

I don't even know what that is. My wife was volunteering at a cat shelter. Then we had some mouse issues. I was drunk one night and said if the cat can be a mouser then we can have a cat. Then we had a new cat the next day. I actually really love the cat and I've always been a dog person. I think she's a tabby but I know nothing about cats.

A snowshoe is a breed of cat, as is a tabby.

Tabbys always have an 'M' on their forehead. Huge variety of stripes, swirls, etc.

Snowshoes tend to have 4 white feet, a mask and dark points, always blue eyes.

But you lovin' it, is the best kind.

    Moar pics pleez.

Here's a few more Djongo. I love all animals but never had a cat. She's pretty cool and even put my husky(RIP) in his place.
