He is the most chill cat ever, stoned all of the time. But he also wont put up with shit. Once, several years ago, our other cat was chilling in the front yard when a lady walking her dog came by. The 50 pound dog sees the cat and pulls the leash from her hands to come after our kitty. Big gray Norwegian sees this and literally chased the dog back into the street. It was one of the most heroic things I’ve ever seen and my wife and I still talk about it.

3z - I think Norwegians are unique in the feline family. And the orange eyes are great...

Second pic of the Gatekeeper is stellar.

What a beautiful cat. If I was a 50lb dog I wouldn't dare fuck with him. Absolutely stunning.

I guess the new kittens aren't nearly afraid of the vacuums as the old cats were.

Heh. Now you need a shark costume for kitty. And a duck running around the house.

Miss Mayhem is living up to her name. She's taking to knocking things off the counter that the dog wants but shouldn't have.

Once they start teaming up it's the end for you, you're about to lose control of the house!

Ms Boissal bought a bench for the shower. Yesterday I got in there without carefully scanning my surroundings, turned the water on, and heard a very angry hiss:

    Too funny.
Miss Joey loves water. As soon as the bath or shower is turned on she comes running to the washroom. Have to close the door to shower alone, and daughter has to do the same during her bath or there’s extended evening duties to dry kitty off after her water time. Never in all my experience with barn/farm cats have known a kitty to be so fascinated with water.

Hobbes has a love/hate relationship with water. She spends a lot of time on/in the sink and won't leave if you turn the water on, she'll just drink off what's dripping off her back. Takes opening the faucet in full on to get her out of there, and when that happens there are a lot of angry noises. She will get in the shower if given the chance as well. My previous house had a fully opened shower and she'd come strolling in damn near every time I was in there. She'd get annoyed fast and hiss at me as if I was forcing her to get soaked. She once fell in the bath after trying to balance her fat ass on the edge of the tub, that went from cute to hilarious to horrifying in a hot second for me. I also saw her fall into a rain barrel she was trying to drink from a few years back, that was quite the scene.
