Had to put down my little buddy of 16 years yesterday. He came into our life as a sick little kitten, and we brought him home when we were out looking for a dog. 2 weeks after we got him, we did get a dog, and those two were inseparable. I have always maintained that as far as cats go, Salem was the coolest little dog I ever had.
