This guy has a mast cell tumor on his left ear, it is getting chopped off this afternoon. Going to miss that ear.

Thanks guys. Of all the tumors to get, and of all the places to get them, this seems to be not too bad a deal.

Just happy we caught it quickly. (actually the timing is fucked - I was supposed to be travelling atm for a few weeks but the gf got accepted as an artist in residence a few provinces over Sept - Oct and I didn't want to leave our guys in the care of my closest family so I cancelled/postponed my plans. Wow, that was an awesome decision. It's been an overwhelming day and I literally just realized that fact as I was typing. Dang.)

From what the vet said and my own bit of research it appears once this type of thing is surgically removed that should be the end of it.

He definitely has a different look now, but hopefully that's that. I know kitties tend to hide pain and discomfort but he seems completely oblivious a few hours later.

Hey my friend. He'll get over the gimpy ear. Minimal sadness here, odds are this has been a victory.

    Will reciprocate with pics.

My wife put up a ladder and perch so that Miss Mayhem could get to the kitchen window to get our attention. Brilliant idea. Farking cat clawed the screen. The largest and hardest to replace screen that we have.

Cats love to scratch screens then their claws get stuck and they are left hanging there until you notice and save their little furry butts.

Cat blog entry #243: sleeping with the indoor kitty between me and my wife last night. Wife wakes me up "i hear growling, there's a cat dight outside". Before i gst out of bed kitty starts growling and i find shadow had snuck in thru the roof window into the room. Catfight in the bedroom at 2am!

Its gonna be fun when we "officially" introduce them after the ball chop.

What was so funny is picturing this whole thing in my head with MM going apeshit...

Juju did this thing (I think a racoon spooked her) where she'll jump up and hang from the half inch reveal around the one of three little windows in the front door and pull herself up... You hear this frantic scratching on the front door and then when her head gets up to window height the light from the led track light bulbs hits her eyes there's like this demon eyes glow coming through the obscured glass... Smh she's fucking nuts!

Actually, she's very calm. And very adept at trashing a screen I really don't want to have to deal with. FML.

They will never be friends. Don’t try and put them together or fight it out. Best you can do is crack in a door so they can meet

I am dealing with that situation with Milo and Misha and hoping for a frienemy situation like I have with a long standing stray and my barn cats. For his part Misha has been trying but Milo is too scared and tries to cover it with hissing and screaming.

Just chillin, laying on keyboards, biting plastic mice. Eating all the foods. Purring like a hog.
