George Carlin Dead at 71...
If some of the best times of my life were skiing the UP in -40 wind chill with nothing but jeans, cotton long johns and a wine flask to keep warm while sleeping in the back of my dad's van... does that make me old school?
"REHAB SAVAGE, REHAB!!!"

Hunh...I just listened to an interview with him (yesterday) on XM comedy.
The last Q. that he recieved was regarding his epitaph...
(What would you want on your tombstone)
George replied "George? He was here just a minute ago.."
Creepy.
Funny guy, definitely changed my perspective as a kid.Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident

I mean no disrespect to one of the great comedians, but if you saw his last HBO special, he was already counting the days. It really was sad to watch a guy who knew he would be dead soon.
I'm watching the same thing with my former boss. Its tough to see someone who is perfectly healthy who is intent that they will be moving on soon.....Goals for the season: -Try and pick up a sponsor.--Phill

Wow... we just watched Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure this weekend. He has a way of making just about anything funny and yet oddly poignant at the same time.
George, he was here just a minute ago. Damn I'll miss him.
