At this point maybe we just need to accept that humanity has gone to shit. At least in the U.S. Stupidity seems to be reigning supreme and just seems to be gaining momentum.

I can't get past the first 10 seconds of that human piece of preppy shit Tucker Carlson (your people, I know, not sorry.). What's the point? Some Kennedy is an idiot? Huh. Go figure.

    Fuck Kennedy
    Fuck Carlson
Fuck anyone who tries to politicize this issue.

Science and medicine is not a language everyone understands which is why not everyone should have an opinion. You want credibility, prove you know what you're talking about.

This has nothing to do with Democrats--Richard Pan MD, the CA State Senator who introduced the strictest mandatory vaccination bill in the country is a Democrat, as is the legislature that passed it and the governor who signed it.

This has everything to do with inbreeding.

BTW, autopsy results confirmed that the Mexican migrant 8 y/o boy who died in Dec died from influenza complications.

As far as the US being stupid, at 91% MMR vaccine rate, the US ranks 113th in the world. Although poverty and lack of access to medical care probably are more important than refusal. Vaccination rate, infant mortality, materal mortality, life span--isn't it time that when we chant USA! USA! we hold up a lot more fingers than one? And some toes too, although that still won't be enough.

Rockland County (just north of NYC) has declared a state of emergency due to a measles outbreak. Unvaccinated kids are not allowed out in public.

A Montessori school where no one vaccinated their kids.
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.

Lol, you asshats can’t get beyond your preconceptions and programming to address the content.
    Tucker is annoying.
RFK is even harder to listen to with his tremors. It’s like a male version of Katherine Hepburn.

But try it, you might learn something with an open mind.

    Is RFK an immunologist?

    Is Tucker Carlson an immunologist?

    Just wondering...

So . . . Just stick your head in the sand?
Don’t you realize the power of lobbyists and corporate fascism? Just because it’s health care, it’s magically pure and holy?

RFK claimed a diptet study in Africa said 5 times more unvax kids died than the vax group. Unlike you, I said hmmm, that’s odd. Unlikeyou, I said let me read more about it.
    http://vaccinepapers.org/wp-content/...Experiment.pdf

Small sample, limited genome, might be flawed study, but it’s a real study worth reading.

But it raises the larger issue of why aren’t there more independent studies. Why can’t there be debate. Why are vax mfgrs given tort immunity? Why is the burden of proof not a cost benefit analysis, not just cost of adoption but more importantly adverse outcomes vs improved health with vax?

Ps, my kids got diptet and many more vax. I admire RFK for not being anti-vax, but being open to discussion and analysis.

Where's the open debate about evolution theory vs. creationism? Both are valid. We should put both on equal footing.

Why should we listen to two people who don't know shit about immunology discuss immunology? Want to learn something? listen to 99% of the experts in the field, listen to the vast majority of the medical profession who have a shit load of training in the field, look at the reams and reams of papers written on vaccines and vaccinology. Do that, then come back and try to make a valid point.

Some of us here acctually have a serious amount of education and training about this specific topic. We stopped listening to idiots long ago because it became pointless. Serious biologist and geologists stopped listening to creationists long ago for the same reason. It has nothing to do with not having an open mind, and everything to do with not wasting time on drivel.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

this thread has a question I've pondered many times lately being an inveterate message board whore.

are posters like core-shot real? not - was core-shot real (he was). but is he real now? is this a real person still or some thread bumping fud dumping bot who assumed an online identity? If he's still real -what radicalized him?

FFS, the data in that paper you linked is attributing a mortality rate of almost 50 to a vaccine treatment!! I wouldn't blame you for thinking maybe they substituted cyanide in place of DTP. You think maybe, just maybe there are a few confounders in this population? What you're witnessing in
that paper is the reason why controlled clinical studies (even observational ones) aren't conducted in parts of the earth where baseline mortality is so high and monitoring is so poor. Your intentions are good, but your powers of investigation and comprehension on this subject make you poorly equipped to have an informed opinion. I don't say that as a quip. I say that as someone who has an expertise in a sliver of biology and who recognizes the importance of having subject matter experts provide guidance.

You want credibility, prove you know what you're talking about. Saying you respect a politician and linking a very weak publication doesn't cut the mustard.

In the first place--Democrat was in the first sentence in your post so it certainly qualifies as content, which I addressed.
In the second place, if by content you mean the video--why would I subject myself to listening to swill like that? Why would anyone?

    Indeed!

    And witchcraft!

To burn the witches or not? Whether to make a compromise, like adults, and roast 'em just a bit...on the cheeky side?

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

Core Shot, would you like to hear a lifty and the guy who runs the register at the dispensary have a good honest debate with deep open consideration about whether the Earth is flat or round?

No, that is by definition a study not worth reading. The only worthwhile thing to come from that study like that is to reveal the reader's confirmation bias.

More importantly, they are not Epidemiologists nor Infectiologists (infectious disease specialists) either... in case you're still wondering
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

If you're more afraid of totally disproven non fatal consequences and side effects than you are of the debilitating and often fatal diseases and outright plagues vaccines have been proven to prevent you should be charged with child abuse. Further, it's past time to consider unvaccinated vector kids the same way we treat unvaccinated dogs and cats... ban them from public spaces.

Why stop with the unvaccinated ones, ban all children from public spaces. The little shits shouldn't be seen or heard.

I was just thinking (yes,it hurt): some people have adverse reactions to bee stings. Even fatal. But here we are talking about saving bees. Why? Because we need them to live. Same with vaccines.
    No longer stuck.
