you probably mean the giant vt line. And if we don't know what we are talking about why are you asking our advice?

Every bike magazine now has done a big comparison on the blur vs. epic vs. giant vs. intense. All bikes kick ass, along with the maverick if you got the money.

specialized: best race oriented ride hands down
giant: most freerideish ride, plushest on the downhills, climbs alright if you stay seated
blur: ultimate do everything one bike, especially with the 5th element air shock
intense: more race then blur, more trailbike then epic, still kicks ass, expensive
maverick: ? i know it's really expensive and the cross country weenies like em

i'd suggest the blur if you want a good all around bike, but I wouldn't buy any of that crap. Go with Ellsworth, that is what I ride. For you I would suggest the ID, but I don't even know your style. I went for the cush and got a Dare a few years back, then recently purchased the specialist for dirt jumping, and am thinking about going for a truth, but possibly an ID. But I have a serious addiction.
