Boulder/Denver area HD Camera owners
wrong forum blah blah blah...
Anyway, the band Kinetix is playing a show at the Bluebird friday in Denver.
I have been hired by them to shoot the show. 5:30-7ish pre-production meeting. The show itself is from 10-1.
They originally had 6 cameras (including mine), but 4 dropped out so they need 4 replacement camera persons. You must have your own HD Camera and tripod.
You will get paid $150.
Contact me if you are interested.

So you do realize that the daily rental rate for a HD camera starts at $150 to $200 without a tripod?
And you do realize that they are asking you to do a full day of work, with gear rental, for $150?
(5:30p to 1a = 7.5 hours)
Wow, I'm shocked that everyone bailed.
I know you're just trying to get some footage for your reel and you're willing to work for cheap, or free, but those guys have to realize when you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
It will probably be a good experience for you, but I hope you have a good rain cover for your camera and that your insurance is up to date.
