PSA - Alpental opening for the memorial holiday

Alpental will be open three days this weekend.

Conditions were great last weekend and despite concern for avalanche conditions in the Cascades, the BC at Alpental was stable, save the usual creak and separation hazards.

+1 to all that. BC (Stokes and Trash Can) were fun as hell so long as we avoided the holes.

Now pissing rain in Seattle. Maybe it'll sun up by this afternoon. Or maybe it's a day for golf.

Saturday was amazing. 60 degrees and sunny. Some of the best corn I have skied ever. It was nice meeting you rehabit.

Corn yesterday at Alpental!!I don't think so!it was pretty slushy and corn like I guess but it weren't corn. If you think that's corn wait until you really ski ego corn. For corn you need it to freeze and then melt.

However, I agree it was good and was even slightly better today in terms of snow condition IMVHO. Tomorrow is last, last last day!

Today was awesome, and happily NOAA was just as wrong about the weather as they were on Saturday. Common guys, one more time, you can do it. Seriously, if they stay on the same curve, tomorrow is going to be great,

This weekend was one of the best weekends I've had all year. went up all 3 days Saturday sunny. Sunday Sunny with few clouds and today cloudy with sun.
Was effin excited that they opened the top entrances to International around 3

I rode up with a Ski-patrol and they said they were gonna try to stay open till June 1st
