Good work all! Remember, please get them to me by Friday May 28 -- that's a week from tomorrow, 72.

I worked the tying bench for an hour this morning... headed up north tomorrow for some wild trout. I plan to do some quality-control testing for you on the streamer I'm tying. Report to follow.

Halfway through tying some size 14 red tungsten bead head brassie's. Like crystal meth for trout.

Jimmy! Good work man. I'm making the wood river classic tungsten bead zebra. Can't beat that fly in about 90% of Western rivers.

with a double set-up of my fly and Liddy's. You might get bored of fishing from catching so many fish.

BTW - Friday is the 30th, not the 28th.

Anyway, I'm back in town and will finish tying tonight and tomorrow and get the bugs in the air to you.

Sorry if I am holding you guys up - got busy with work last week and had to go out of town for the weekend.

Sending mine out today, Priority Mail, as it may take a little longer to get to Yeti from AK. 14 smallish (forgot size) parachute BWOs and 14 bead head buggers. I couldn't find the hooks I needed for the original fly I intended to tie so I opted for a multi-green sz 4 bead head bugger. Sorry if anyone else tied something similar but they work well on the bows out here!

Mine went out today 28 #8 unweighted "snot rockets" - trout like to eat them just like kids.

I guess we aren't using the same calendar. Basically I look at the sun at the time it feels about like noon, then count how many degrees above the horizon it is, and how hot it is, and then just make up a month-name and date.

I've received two sets of flies so far, and they look great. We have some artists among us! Please keep the rest coming; once they're all in, I'll turn them right around to you all.

Yes, Lumpy wins the promptness award for first flies received. (And mighty impressive they are, I might add!) So far I've received four sets. I can provide an updated list of who's sent what tomorrow, but right now I (think I*) have submissions from:
    - Lumpy
    - Kokomas
    - someone in Homer, AK
    - someone in Anchorage

    * asterisk because there's a good chance I'm making up the list of flies I've received, just like I made up "Friday May 28th"

If anyone hasn't sent theirs out by tomorrow, tsk tsk -- get on it!

WTF?? I mailed mine on the morning of the 20th, you'd think the USPS could get a small package delivered a bit quicker. Let me know if it isn't there in the next couple of days. The middle of Wyoming isn't that damn remote.

Mine, are hitting the mail in the next day or so.

I dug out some of my old tying stuff ...Whipped up some Hex nymps for the coming hatch.

Hell, I was using them for small mouth over the weekend.

I'm late. I'll overnight them to you on Monday. Sorry to all. Family got in the way of some quality time on the vise.

28 flies, please. Thanks to all who've gotten them in. Everyone else, please let me know if you need me to ship you chains to help you stay at the tying bench. When you're done, I'll send the key and you can use the chain as an anchor for your boat.

Another set arrived from Fairbanks last night. Adipose, now that I know where you're from, I'll make sure I haven't gotten yours -- it's entirely possible I have. It's a bit of a fun challenge to match up flies, user names, real names, and addresses. Stay tuned, folks.

I'd think the ones coming from Fairbanks should all be 8 inch long wire tied string leeches and the ones coming from Sun Valley will all be size 28 tricos.
